ASSIGNMENT TASK:
As the talent and resourcing manager, use a company you are familiar with to answer the following questions:
a. Explain THREE key benefits of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
b. Propose and justify THREE varied communication methods to promote engagement, equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusivity.
c. Assess the merits of TWO techniques to combat team conflict.
d. Appraise the merits of ONE leadership approach that could enhance inclusivity at your case company.
e. Propose THREE industry examples of effective inclusive leadership that your case company could use as best practice. This can be embedded throughout your presentation to contextualise your work.
KEY TASK WORD DEFINITIONS:

a. A clear explanation of three key benefits of a diverse and inclusive workforce. This includes at least 3 justified benefits supported by contemporary academic references, figures and research data. (15 marks)
b. Suggestions of three varied communication methods that can be used to promote engagement, equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusivity. This requires you to apply two engagement/motivational theories to justify your suggestions (20 marks)
c. An overview of the merits of two techniques to combat team conflict. This requires you to apply one group/team theory to support your answer. (20 marks)
d. Appraise the merits of one leadership approach that could enhance inclusivity in your case study. Your recommendation will be supported by applying leadership concepts, contemporary academic references, figures, and research data. Explain the significance of a diverse and inclusive workforce to the success of a business. (20 marks)
e. Propose THREE industry examples of effective inclusive leadership that your case study could use as best practice. This can be embedded throughout your presentation to contextualise your work (15 marks)
f. Presentation – design of slides, presentation skills and time management. The final slide should give a list of at least 10 quality and contemporary references. Minimum of 12 slides and a maximum of 15 slides. (10 marks)
