This assignment is an individual assignment divided in Part A and B.

Part A.

In May 2021, Australia and UK signed a trade agreement. A growing small and medium food and beverage enterprise based in Australia feel this represents a good business opportunity, but they have no expertise on internationalization. You have been hired to provide consultancy services. You should prepare a report which addresses the following:

1: What are the benefits of the trade agreement for both the UK and Australia? Is it favourable to both countries?

2: What are the formal and informal institutional considerations of the UK the Australian food and beverage company should be aware of?

3: Using appropriate theories/frameworks, analyse the food and beverage industry in UK. Evaluate if the trade agreement is beneficial to the food and beverage industry in UK?

4: By referring to appropriate theories/concepts/frameworks, provide evidence of how the company should internationalise to UK. 5: Based on your analysis above, make recommendations whether the company should internationalise to the UK or not. 

Part B (Simulation/COIL Project Reflection)

Write a 300 word reflection on the planning and implement of your simulation or COIL team’s project. Make specific reference to your own role. Attach as an appendix, the necessary reports from the simulation or COIL project.

This assignment is designed to assess learning outcomes:

Word Count

The word count is 3,000.

There will be a penalty of a deduction of 10% of the mark (after internal moderation) for work exceeding the word limit by 10% or more. The word limit includes quotations and citations but excludes the references list.
